I just thought I'd mention that I did post some more pictures in the Pictures section last week. There's like 75 new pictures and after posting them, I did realize that they are almost all the same with a few outfit changes here and there so I apologize. But you should consider yourself lucky, I narrowed it down from the 370 that were on my camera. 370 pictures since July 3rd... That's a lot of pictures.
Things are going well, my time at home with Gianna and Jamison is going by way too fast. Gianna's already smiling and holding her head up pretty well. And I swear she's so close to laughing. Sometimes she'll get so excited when she smiles that she makes noise, but it's not exactly a laugh. And last night was wonderful. She slept from 10:00pm till about 6:00am. I don't expect it to continue, but I'll take that schedule anytime!
Well, on Friday we are attempting a road trip. We are taking Jamison and Gianna and Kody camping to the Black Hills in South Dakota. We're meeting Jay's family there and they haven't seen Gianna yet and it's been awhile since we've seen them so we're really excited. I've heard a lot of people tell me that we're crazy to go camping with a newborn, but I think it will be all right. It's not like we're really going to be 'roughing it'. We're staying at a KOA and we'll have our trailer so I think it will work out. I am a little worried about the drive though. I'm thinking Gianna will sleep most of the time, but Jamison's a little impatient when it comes to sitting in one place (especially strapped in) for extended periods of time. We'll be sure to pack lots of Thomas movies.
Hey, if anybody has had a little girl, what in the world am I supposed to do with Gianna's hair??? It's getting pretty long but it's all different lengths all over her head and I'm worried it's going to start looking a little mulletish if I don't do something about it. But I want to grow it out long so I don't really want to cut it. Any ideas?

You guys will have fun camping and all will be fine. We took Madi camping when she was about 1 1/2 months old. She did fine, but I was a nervous wreck. However, we all survived. Plus, we were in Marty's parents old trailer that didn't have a heater so we used a space heater and I worried the whole time about carbon monoxide poisoning.
As far as Gianna's hair goes you have to figure that eventually you are going to have to cut it in order to grow it out evenly. I am a proponent of cutting it earlier rather than later. I cut Maya's hair when she was just a few months old.
Oh Janeal those pics are so cute, I really need to come over and see the babes again she is so cute. When do you guys get back from camping? K well have fun and I am sure everytying will be just fine.
and as for her hair its okay if it looks mulletish for a little while she can still get away with it right now cuz she is just a little baby and so cute.
Janeal, She is adorable!! I can not believe how long it has been! Well hope you enjoy your trip and don't worry!! Love Trish
Mindy, how did you cut Maya's hair? Like just the back part? Cause I don't want to cut the top right, because that's the part I want to grow out? She's been pretty much ready for a cut since she was born...
Mickele, we get back next Saturday. I'm so excited to do something besides feeding Gianna for a change! Hey, you're going to keep us updateed today, right??? :)
Trisha, how are you? I must have been a little girl last time you saw me! It looks like you're doing well. Thanks for reading my blog! :)
Hey JaNeal! Hope you have a great time camping! I'm sure everything will be just fine. I can't beleive how big Gianna is getting already! You have such beautiful kids! As for her hair I would give it a bit longer before cutting it. Just cause I would be nervous. Figure out some little barrettes or ponies with bows maybe. I'm sure she has plenty to play with. Then in time you will have to cut it to even it out. I'm sure you'll figure it out! Have a great trip!
What a fun trip you have planned! I can't wait to see your vacation pictures. I hope you have a great time!
I just trimmed the back-I've actually done it a couple of times and it's pretty even now in the back.
Hey you!! Ava has already had 3 'trims' so she doesn't get the mullet. I have 3 hairdressers in the family and they all say to trim so it will be thicker later....? This drives Brad crazy but I am also one who doesn't cry when they cut her hair.
Hi Jay & Janeal!
I happened to find your blog through a friend of a friend. I'm not sure if you remember me. It's Christa from Discovery Christian Community in Murray. I was so excited to stumble upon your blog and to see that you are doing so well. Congratulations on the baby girl. She has just as much hair as Jamison did. We would love to see you all at church again. I hope you know you are always welcome. I know it's a long drive for you though. Anyway, I just wanted to send a quick note and say hi. Feel free to stalk my blog because I'll be stalking your's from now on. I hope you don't mind!
Christa
You have such a cute little family! I can't believe how much older you kids tend to look just because they have so much hair, I love it!
