Can I blame pregnancy?

I realize that normally I do a lot of stupid things, but since I am pregnant right now, do you think I can blame these things on pregnancy? Yesterday, we had about 10 visitors from our customer come into town for training and I have been elected the lucky person to do this training. So, I was doing my hair yesterday before work and I somehow managed to clamp my ear with my hot flat iron. Like I completely missed my hair and got my ear instead. It hurt. I really have no idea how I did this... Anyways, I don't exactly leave myself with a lot of extra time in the morning so I used the time I drive to work to hold an ice pack on my ear. Well, as soon as I got to work, I had to take it off so I could start training. And you know when you burn something as long as you have something cold on it, it feels fine, but as soon as you take away the cold, it hurts worse than before... This is how I spent the first hour of my training. I'm not quite sure what I said during this time but I'm hoping it was at least coherent. :) Luckily, nobody's mentioned anything so far...

Being sick sucks.

As much as I'd love to update with a bunch of fun information, I'm afraid that the only thing going on for us lateley is that we are sick. All of us. And being pregnant and sick isn't as much fun as you might think it is. It started with Jamison getting strep. Then he dropped a train on my foot which sadly demobilized me for a couple days. And then I got sick with horrible cold and Jay is now sick with the same cold. Fortunately, I got smart and called my doctor which resulted in medicine and life has become much better. Jamison has been so sweet though and he's been in such a cooperative mood for the last week which really helps. He's perfectly capable of either getting me everything I ask for (juice, etc) or finding daddy and having daddy get me everything I ask for. Although Jay usually gets me whatever I ask for anyways, I find that it seems to be very effective to have Jamison ask instead. That little 'please?' is really hard to resist. Anyways, I am happy to say that with the exception of Jay who is just starting his journey of sickness, the rest of us seem to be getting over it.

Not much new going on with the Baby Girl. I feel her moving all the time now which is a lot of fun. Still no name yet... We have, however, made plans to travel to South Dakota to meet up with Jay's family at the end of July. That should make for an interesting road trip with Jamison and an infant and of course Kody. AND, it looks like Jamison and Baby Girl are getting another new cousin! Tracy, Jay's sister, is expecting in October! :)

Network problems...

I'm not sure what's going on exactly, but apparently my web host is suffering from some technical difficulties... So that's why the site's been down for a few days. HOPEFULLY their server is back up now.

Some exciting news is that Jamison was a BIG boy and went potty standing up last night! We have not yet taught him that, so he must have picked it up at daycare or something. He did it again this morning. Unfortunately, he still makes me take off his shoes and pants before he'll go, but still, it's a good step in the right direction. And he seems to have gotten over his issues from last week. He's been eating and playing at daycare like his normal cute little self so I'm hoping (knock on wood) that it was just a brief phase and that it never comes back. : )
